seasons @ Tarkinegrove

Seasons are a little different at Tarkinegrove. They say Melbourne has 4 seasons in a day, we can have 3 seasons 10 times in a day.
Our maximum temperature is around 32-33℃ with a minimum of around -2℃. These extremes occur for just a few days a year.
Summer starts in January and Autumn March to May even July can be mild. October marks the beginning of Spring. Rainfall totals 1200-1300mm p.a. Winds up to 50km/h on the property have been recorded, double that away from the protection of the wind breaks, we don't call it "the wild side" without good reason...
Blow Flies are a nuisance in the warmer weather, they are part of life in the NW (and most of the north) due to the dairy and cattle farms. They are not the type that swarm and carry your plate of food away, they simply find a way inside and then try to get back out. Opening a couple of the top windows an inch helps them escape, then close the window again.
March flies, now that's a different thing they ARE an annoyance, and they do not appear in March.
